How to play:

  1. To enter, participants have to:
    • Be a Marriott Bonvoy member
    • Watch the 30-second video
    • Leave a comment with the number of people the tickets passed through before reaching the guest, tag a friend they would like to enjoy the show with and state why they want to go to the show
    • Hashtag #MarriottBonvoy #LaClique #YouAreInvited
  2. At the end of the contest period, Marriott International (Marriott) will, at its sole discretion, select 2 participants who have posted the correct number and the most interesting, original, and creative comments.
  3. Prize: Each winner will receive 2 tickets to La Clique on 6 November 2021
  4. No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win the Marriott Bonvoy x La Clique giveaway social contest.

Terms & Conditions:

  1. This competition will start on 11 October, 2021 at 8:00 am (GMT +08:00) until 24 October, 2021 at 23:59 pm (GMT +08:00). The time of any participant’s submission is determined by the time entry of that submission on Facebook ’s system. Winners will be contacted via Facebook DM by 28 October, 2021.
  2. Contest is only open to residents within Singapore, and participants must be 18 years old or above in order to participate. Marriott reserves the rights to exclude any person in any of the following categories to participate in the competition or to be awarded any prize: (a) persons who are the directors, officers or employees of Marriott or any affiliate, persons who are engaged in the administration, development, production or distribution of the competition, and persons who are directors, officers or employees of any advertising or promotion agency associated with the competition; (b) persons who were or are on-site directors, officers or employees of any third party operator at Marriott; and (c) persons who are family members (including spouse, or biological, adoptive or step-mother, father, sister, brother, daughter, son or any dependent under any applicable income tax law) of any person in any of the preceding categories, regardless of where they live, and (d) persons who are resident in jurisdictions where Marriott is prohibited or restricted by law in respect of Marriott’s conduct of this competition or where it is illegal for such persons to participate in this competition under the laws of that jurisdiction.
  3. Each participant may only produce one entry. Any additional entries will be void and disqualified.
  4. Marriott’s decision in connection with this competition, including the determination of the Winners, is at its sole discretion and participants will not have the right to object or appeal that decision. The criteria for selection of the Winner will be based on the creativity and originality of the submission. Marriott is not required to explain to any participants the reasons for its selection of the Winner.
  5. The Prize is non-transferable, non-resaleable and may not be returned, exchanged, or redeemed for cash in any circumstances.
  6. By making a submission, the participant agrees to be contacted via Facebook Inbox Message in respect of their submission. Submission implies acceptance of these terms and conditions. If notified that they are a Winner, the participant will be required to provide their full name, email address and mailing address. Marriott reserves the right to verify the Winners and may ask for proof of age, identity, membership number and address to determine prize entitlement.
  7. Participants are required to be Marriott Bonvoy members in order to be eligible to win a prize under this competition. Upon selection of a Winner, he or she must present their Marriott Bonvoy membership number in order to receive the prize. If the selected winner is not a Marriott Bonvoy member, he or she will need to enroll in the loyalty program order to receive the prize.
  8. If the Winner does not respond or is unable to be contacted within 7 days of Marriott’s first notification that they are the Winner of the competition, he or she will be disqualified without notice or compensation and their Prize shall be forfeited.
  9. Participants agree that Marriott will not be liable for any loss of information submitted by the participants due to computer, website, network, communications or any other technical errors, including technical errors which interfere with the Participant’s submission of entry and/ or receipt of Winner notifications or prizes. Participants agree that Facebook is not responsible for and has not sponsored or endorsed this competition and will not be involved in the administration of this competition. Participants hereby release Facebook for any and all liability in connection with or arising out of this competition.
  10. Incomplete, illegible, and late entries, and any other entries which do not fully comply with these terms and conditions will not be accepted and will be deemed void and disqualified. Submissions will be disqualified if Marriott considers in its sole discretion that (i) the submission contains indecent / obscene materials (including but not limited to: pornography, violence, swearing and obscene hand gestures etc.) or (ii) if there is any infringement of third parties’ rights (including but not limited to copyright infringement). This applies even if the relevant participant has been selected as a Winner of the competition and in such circumstances, the Prize shall be forfeited by the Winner without compensation upon Marriott’s notice to the Winner.
  11. Marriott reserves the right to disqualify any participant found or suspected of taking part in the competition using accounts registered with a false identity or attempting to use any program to influence the process or results of the competition. Marriott also reserves the right to recover damages or other compensation from such person. Marriott may disqualify a participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe the participant has breached these terms and conditions. This applies even if the disqualified person has been selected as a Winner of the competition and in those circumstances, the Prize shall be forfeited by the Winner without compensation upon Marriott’s notice to the Winner.
  12. All expenses not specifically provided for herein including but not limited to transportation costs in connection with the collection and use of the Prize are the Winner’s sole responsibility. All taxes (including, without limitation, withholding taxes, income taxes, VAT, GST and import duties and fees, as applicable) on or connected with the Prize, and the reporting consequences thereof are the sole and exclusive responsibility of the Winner.
  13. Marriott and the prize provider make no warranty or representation, either expressed or implied, with respect to the availability and fitness of the Prize; including whether the event may be postponed or cancelled. Marriott and its affiliates shall not be liable for any claim, loss or damage arising out of participation in the contest or Winner’s redemption and use of the Prize. The limitation and liability contained in these Terms and Conditions will apply to the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws.
  14. If a Winner is disqualified or their Prize is forfeited for any reason, Marriott is not obligated to select an alternative Winner for this competition.
  15. Marriott reserves the right to change or replace the Prize without giving prior notice or compensation. Marriott may change, cancel or postpone the competition or these terms and conditions at its sole discretion at any time without notice. Marriott is not required to notify or pay any compensation to any party should the competition or these terms and conditions be changed, cancelled or postponed by Marriott for any reason.
  16. By submitting comments (“Materials”) in the competition, participants represent and warrant that the participant is the owner of all intellectual property in the Materials and shall indemnify Marriott and its affiliates for any losses they may suffer or incur if any third party claims to own any intellectual property rights in the Materials. Participants agree that all rights, title and interest in the Materials are, upon submission of the Materials, assigned by participants to Marriott and its affiliates and understand and agree that Marriott may use, display, reproduce, distribute and retain any and all Materials for any purpose and in any manner, medium and format without incurring any liability to the participants or any other person (including the requirement to pay any compensation in respect of such uses of the Materials). Participants further agree to waive, unconditionally, irrevocably, and without further payment, all moral rights and author’s rights of a similar kind in relation to the Materials.
  17. Participant agrees that Marriott and the prize provider may publish the Winner’s name, image, social media handle, and/ or profile picture (“Social Media Information”) for publicity purposes in relation to their receipt of the prize. Winner agrees that their Social Media Information may be published and publicized in perpetuity, worldwide.
  18. Provision of personal data is necessary to participate in this competition. If participants do not provide such personal data, they will not be eligible to participate in the competition or to be selected as a Winner.
  19. Personal data collected in connection with this competition may be used for the evaluation of submissions in this competition, the award and redemption of Prizes, processing of requests or enquiries related to this competition, Marriott’s internal business and administrative purposes in connection with this competition or other related purpose. Personal data may be transferred to third parties involved in fulfilling the aforesaid purposes including Marriott’s affiliated companies, agents, employees or representatives, or such other persons as may be required by law.
  20. Marriott will not use personal data submitted by participants for the purposes of this competition to send participants marketing or promotional materials unless the relevant participant gives their consent to receiving those materials. If the participant gives their consent to receive such materials from Marriott, Marriott will retain and use the participant’s personal data to provide the participant with marketing and promotional materials unless the participant subsequently withdraws their consent.
  21. The competition and these terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Singapore. Neither Marriott nor any affiliate makes any representation that participation in the competition is appropriate or available in other locations and the competition is void in any jurisdiction where the conduct of or participation in such a competition is prohibited or restricted by law. Those who choose to participate in the competition do so on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws, if and to the extent they are applicable. These terms and conditions are subject to the interpretation by Marriott which shall be final and conclusive. In the event of disputes, Marriott reserves the right to make final judgment on the dispute and otherwise in respect of this competition.
  22. In the event of any discrepancy between the English version and any translated version of these Program Rules, the English language version will govern.
